Adris M. Parker

Marion- ADRIS M. PARKER, age 85, of Marion, passed away at 7:35pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Frankfort Healthcare and Rehab Center in West Frankfort. Adris was born in Marion on March 9, 1925, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Ingram) Ingram. She married Joseph Franklin Parker in Marion on April 30, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2004. Mrs. Parker was of Baptist faith. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters- Jolene and Gary Arrowood of Marion, IL Janice Nicholls of Marion, IL Two sons- Randall and Patty Parker of Marion, IL Allen and Karen Parker of Pittsburg, IL Step-Son- Eddie Parker of Carterville, IL Twelve grandchildren Twenty-Seven great grandchildren Seven Great Great Grandchildren Adris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter- Joyce Ann Parker, two brothers- Tarlton and William Ingram, two sisters- Joyce Parton and Mary Sanders, and one grandson- James Parker. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, with Rev. Gene Parton officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulton. Visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the services on Friday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
