Alma G. Hundley

Carterville- ALMA G. HUNDLEY, age 69, of Carterville, passed away at 9:07am on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Herrin Hospital. Alma was born in Marion on August 13, 1939, the daughter of Justus and Lura (Pulley) Lamb. She married Clinton Hundley in Galesburg, IL on October 25, 1969. They shared thirty-nine years of marriage. He survives in Carterville. Mrs. Hudnley was a homemaker. She was a member of the Crab Orchard Boat and Yacht Club and served on the Blairsville Water Board. Survivors include her husband- Clinton Hundley of Carterville, IL Son- Tim and Linda Lamb of DeSoto, IL Daughter- Dana and Bill Dailey of DeSoto, IL Son- Rory Hundley of DeSoto, IL Three Grandchildren- Shaina Bryant and fianc Justin Part of Carbondale, IL Ryne Bryant of DeSoto, IL Kaden Hundley of DeSoto, IL Several cousins Mrs. Hundley was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Greg Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the funeral home. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans Association, the American Cancer Society, or the Shriner's Hospital.
