Johnston City-Audrey F. Ervin, passed away at 11:27 A.M., Monday, October 4, 2004 at her residence. She was born July 29, 1926 in Truman, Arkansas to Amos & Daisy ( Hester) Mayner. She married Herbert Ervin on September 9, 1946 in Lepanto, Arkansas. Herbert survives. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Marion. She was a homemaker. Survivors Include: Husband: Herbert Ervin-Johnston City Son & Daughter-In-Law: Rev. Elvin & Velda Ervin of Herrin Four Grandchildren: Ramona & Rev. Terry Griffith of Herrin Aaron & Marilyn Richardson of Herrin Nathan V. Richardson of Cave Creek, AZ. Derek L. Ervin of Chicago, IL. Six Great Grandchildren: Dustin & Jordan Griffith of Herrin Kayla , Michal, Lissa & Emaleigh Richardson of Herrin Brother & Sister-In-Law: John M. & Esta Bell Mayner of Fenton, MI. Two Sister-In-Laws: Callie Mae Mayner of Flint, MI. Dorothy Mayner of Flint, MI. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Robert & George Mayner, three sisters, Lois Kilburn, Lucille Warden & Pauline Bacon. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M, Thursday, October 7, 2004 at The First Apostolic Church in Marion, located at 923 N. Bentley with Rev. R.G. Walls officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the church. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is in charge of the arrangements.
