Barry L. Wieland

Herrin- Barry Lynn Wieland, 56, of Herrin, died at 6:40 AM, Friday, October 15, 2004 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Barry was born on May 25, 1948 in Herrin to Victor E. & Margie Wieland. He was a graduate of Herrin High School. He was Vietnam Veteran, having served in the Army while stationed in Vietnam with the Medical Corp. Mr. Wieland worked for Navajo Trucking in Commerce, CO as an over the road truck driver. SURVIVORS: Mother- Margie Holderfield- Marion Brother- Francis Edward Wieland- Marion Brother & sister in law- Buddy E. & Janice Wieland- Herrin Sister- Phyllis Kubala- Hamilton, NJ Step Brothers: Jack, Jim & Joe Holderfield- all of Marion Several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather; Floyd Holderfield. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 18, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Herrin. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the funeral home.
