Beatrice I. Steinmarch

Herrin- Beatrice I. Steinmarch, 88, of Herrin, died at 6:15 AM, Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Parkway Manor in Marion. Beatrice was born on July 1, 1915 in Harrisburg to John & Dora (Boatwright) Fowler. She married Julius J. Steinmarch on May 3, 1935 in Harrisburg. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1994. Mrs. Steinmarch was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. SURVIVORS: Son & daughter in law- Frank & Joni Steinmarch- Naperville Daughter & son in law- Ruth & Doug Cox- Herrin Daughter & son in law- Doris & Arthur Savoie- Springfield Grandchildren: Michelle Kane & husband Wendell- St. Louis Mark Savoie & wife Pam- Santa Monica, CA Susan Cagle & husband Jon- Springfield Justin Steinmarch- Naperville Leslie Steinmarch- Naperville Great Grandchildren: Michael & Katie Cagle- Springfield Andrew & Steven Kane- St. Louis She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers; Harold, Laney & Leo Fowler, and one sister; Nina Fowler. A private funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 26, 2004 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Monsignor Ken Schaefer will officiate. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations are suggested to OLMC/ St. Marys Education Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
