November 4, 2004 Obituary Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home BETTY JUNE KERLEY Herrin- Betty June Kerley, 69, of Herrin, passed away at 8:25 PM, Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Betty June was born on April 4, 1935 in Herrin to Harvey & Lou (Suthard) Colp. She married Elmer Kerley on August 4, 1954 in Herrin. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1993. She was a faithful member of West Monroe Apostolic Church in Herrin. She conducted Bible studies and enjoyed craftwork such as painting and embroidery. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Richard Pearce will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Friday, November 5, 2004 at the funeral home.
