Carterville Beverly Jane (Crain) Chancey, 75, died Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 2:55 A.M. at St. Louis University Hospital.
Beverly was born on July 28, 1929 to Griff and Genevieve (Edwards) Crain in Crab Orchard. She married Homer Chancey on January 14, 1946 in Crab Orchard and he survives in Carterville.
Beverly was a homemaker. She worked at the V.A. Hospital in North Chicago.

Matthew James and wife Jessica of Killeen, TX, Matthew is currently serving in Baghdad, Iraq,

Patrick Hanna of Winthrop Harbor, IL,

Eric, Michael and Jacob Persman of Mt. Vernon,
Emma James of Killeen, TX,
One Brother Bill and Mary Jo Crain of Herrin,
Brother-in-law Elmer Hulsey of Bush,

Beverly was a loving Aunt and Great Aunt
Preceded by: Parents, Two Sister-in-laws Nettie Crain and Helen Hulsey.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12th from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion.
