Blanche L. Grigsby

Herrin-Blanche L. Grigsby, 78, died 7:46 P.M., January 17, 2003 at Herrin Hospital after a long painful illness. Blanche was born November 15, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to John & Louise McKalip. She married Ronald Grigsby on July 29, 1967 at Evergreen Park, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1996. She retired from Superior Bulk Film Company as a Lab Technician. She was a wonderful mother of one son, two daughters, and one step-daughter. Survivors Include: Son & Daughter In Law: Robert A. & Susan J. Turner of Elk Grove Village, IL. Nine Grandchildren: Shelley & Joe Wagner of Elmhurst, IL. Robert & Michelle Turner of Elmhurst, IL John Turner of Elmhurst, IL. Sharon & Steve Massey of Hoffman Estates, IL. Richard Appelhans of Norridge, IL. Valerie Fagerquist of Chicago, IL. Kathleen & Mike Taylor of Las Vegas, NV. Heather Munsen of Herrin Matthew Munsen of Herrin Numerous Great Grandchildren Three Sisters: Birdie Arnold of St. Joseph, MI. Claire Schallawitz of Springfield, IL. Franny McMullen of Berwyn, IL. Also survived by several nieces & nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers & two sisters. In accordance with Mrs. Grigsby's wishes her body was cremated.
