George Robert “Bobby” Spicer Jr, 60 of Creal Springs, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2024, with the love of his life, Kathy, at his side. Bobby was born October 4, 1963.
Bobby was devoted to Kathy, his wife of 13 years, Always and Forever Love. He loved spending time with her, their children, and grandchildren, who loved their PaPa.
Bobby loved nature and often spent time with friends and family while fishing, hunting, and target shooting.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Spicer; Two children, Shandra Howard and Clint Marks; Four grandchildren, Dustin Walsh, Bryson Adams, Braxton Marks, and Canaan Howard; One great grandson due September 20, 2024; his sisters, Mary Ann Smith and Kathy Chapman; many nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Spicer; parents George Robert (Bob) Spicer and Gloria Janene Spicer; his grandparents who raised him, William (Bill) Hastings, and Georgia Hastings.
Bobby was very giving and generous with his time, always there for the ones he loved the most. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, and spending as much time as possible in the woods.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home located at 1702 West Boulevard Street, Marion, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Bryce Parks and friends to share memories beginning at 6:00 P.M.
In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be directed to the family to assist with expenses and to help with the future education expenses of his grandchildren.
