Chad Aaron Spiller

Chad Spiller, age 38, of Marion, IL passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born on June 17, 1986, in Carbondale, IL, the son of Harry and Shirley Spiller. 

Chad was a 2003 graduate of Marion High School. He was proudly enlisted in the United States Navy from 2007-2011 as a fireman and machinist. He will be remembered as humble, kindhearted and full of love. Although he was soft spoken at times, he had a great sense of humor and loved his family dearly. 

He is survived by his parents, his sister Lisa Cox and brother-in-law William Cox of Marion, IL. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Goldie Spiller of Marion, IL, and his maternal grandparents, Albert Beasley and Blanche Sullivan Beasley of Vienna, IL.

 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 5-6 PM at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 North Court Street, Marion, IL. Funeral Services will begin at 6 PM with Kevin McNeely officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family through Blue Funeral Home.
