OBITUARY

Christopher Hayden, loving father, and husband, died unexpectedly at home on January 15, 2022.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Leslie Hayden; his daughter, Lyla Hayden; his daughters, Kitiara Hayden, Lilian Hayden, Alyssa Hayden; his mother, Delia Wood; his sisters, Tara Cline and Melody Dady; his brother, Jason Wood.

Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Beverly Wood, Doren and Treva Hayden; his father, Lucky Hayden; his uncles, Robert Wood Jr., Roger Wood, Ernie Chapoose and his aunt, Ila Anderson.

Christopher was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 19, 1977, to Delia Wood and Lucky Hayden. Christopher was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a driver, friend, and family at Bill Doran Floral Wholesale in Herrin, Illinois.

Christopher and Leslie met in January 2010, married in May of 2013, and welcomed his beautiful daughter, Lyla Hayden, July 3, 2013, who was his pride and joy. They celebrated twelve years on January 10, 2022.

Christopher was a loving husband and father, a proud Army Veteran. He was an avid Stephen King fan, loved to read, collect movies, and play video games with his daughter. He was always an optimist, light-hearted, and always willing to help others.

He will be forever loved and missed. He will always be remembered by his family as a loving soul, best friend, and father.
