Creed
Creedance Charles Stewart was born sleeping at 27 weeks on August 26, 2022, at 6:13 pm at Saint Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Sarah Lay and Matthew Stewart of Marion, Illinois.
Creedance had suffered from severe cystic hygroma, and non-immune fetal hydrops. He was a mighty fighter that surpassed so many goals in his time in utero. He changed and touched the lives of so many people without ever even meeting them.
Creedance is now in heaven with his maternal grandfather, Greg Rothschild, along with many other family members.
Survivors include his parents, Sarah Lay, and Matthew Stewart; siblings, Marleigh Rothschild and Ryder Lay; maternal grandparents, Rhonda and Bob Epperley; great grandparents, Paula and Gene Rothschild; aunt, PJ Rothschild; paternal grandmother, Linda Stewart; paternal great grandmother, Carolyn (Powell) Fowler; aunts, Rachel Stacy, Liz Stewart, and Abby Stewart; along with many cousins and great aunts and uncles and so many more others that loved him.
His family hopes their story can help any future families that may ever have to go through something similar, and plan to do many positive changes in this world such as fundraisers and help charities in his honor and by simply paying it forward. Creedance may be gone from us in this world but will forever live in our hearts and everyone’s he has touched. He may not have physically ever got to leave his mark on this world, but his name and honor will do many great things.
