Deborah L. Haseker, 60, of Johnston City, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 5 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Debbie was born December 11, 1956 in Alton the daughter of Estes Haseker and Mildred (Phillips) Haseker. Deborah has shared over 39 years with her life partner Cathy McClure, she survives in Johnston City. She was a social worker for Centerstone. Debbie received her Master’s Degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.  She was a very lovable person, always doing for others. She was a very hard worker until her health prevented it.  Debbie continued her act of giving by being an organ donor. She is survived by her; Life Partner – Cathy McClure of Johnson City Mother – Mildred Haseker of Carbondale Sisters; Susan Libby (David) of Baldwin, Missouri Christina Bergmann (Mike) of Eureka, Missouri Four nieces, one nephew, three great nieces and four great nephews Several Aunts & Uncles Dear friend – Elizabeth McRoy of Marion Preceded by her Father – Estes Haseker. Memorial services will be Monday, June 12, 2017 at 2 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be Monday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, Illinois  62959.
