Derrick Lee Lewis

Derrick Lee Lewis, 46 years old of Herrin, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. Derrick was born to Jerry Lee Lewis and Sharon Faye Lewis on April 9, 1974 in Herrin, Illinois. Derrick was a man who loved his children and family. He had a heart so big that he was always friendly to everyone and helped others every chance he had. As a young man he enjoyed skateboarding and was incredibly talented with a can of spray paint and often created something unique out of items he collected along his way. He loved punk rock music and was very proud of his Viking heritage. He was tech savvy and had a comedic personality. The world was a better place with him in it and he will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Derrick is joined in death by his mother, Sharon Faye Lewis and his grandmother, Ester Perrine. He is survived by his father; Jerry Lee Lewis; his son, Devin Lee and Sadie Rose Lewis; his granddaughter, Alivia Faye Lewis; his daughter, Fiona Kay-Nichole Lewis; his brother, Jason Harland Lewis; his nephew, Konal Harland Lewis; his nieces, Morgan Paige Lewis and Kyleigh Nickole Lewis; his great niece, Penelope Faye Lewis; his sister, Jodi Mueller; his nephews, Justin and Jacob Mueller; his aunt Carla and uncle Tim Spowart and family; along with other family and friends.
