Edith "Ella" Craddock

Herrin-EDITH ELLA CRADDOCK, age 89, of Herrin, passed away at 5:10pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Home in Herrin. Edith was born in Jackson, Missouri on October 12, 1921, the daughter of James and Edith (Beavers) Howell. She married Elmer Craddock on December 12, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was protestant faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren when she was able. Survivors include- Son- Delmar and Linda Craddock of Guthrie, OK Granddaughter- Bunnie Craddock of Lawton, OK Grandson- Christopher Craddock of Solman, KS Sister- Betty Palmer of Hurst Brother- Jim Howell of Carterville Sister- Wilma Tilman of Herrin Several Nieces and Nephews Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband and seven brothers and sisters. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial services were arranged by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
