Carbondale Emily Marie Bartar, 89, died Thursday, April 22, 2004 at 8:20 P.M. in her residence. Emily was born September 08, 1914 to Henry and Emily (Nevsimal) Kasper in Chicago. She married Frank Bartar on June 25, 1938 in Chicago and he preceded her in death on November 13, 1995. Emily was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law Larry & Donna Bartar of Carbondale, Daughter and Son-in-law Charmaine & Bud Lewis of Branson, MO, Grandson James & Lori Lewis of Ozark, MO, Grandson Doug & Martina Lewis of Kimerling City, MO, Grandson Jason Dunn of Carbondale, Granddaughter Michelle Lewis of Springfield, MO, Granddaughter Tiffany Campos of Tampa Bay, FL, Sister & Brother-in-law Alice & Len Gelb of Stickney, IL. Preceded by Parents, Brothers Edwin Kasper and Fred Kasper, Sister Margie Lane. Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. A private visitation was held Monday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
