Glenda J. Sutton

Glenda J. Sutton, 64 years old of Energy, Illinois, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at her home.

Glenda J. (Fallin) Sutton was born on September 4, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Elzia "Ed" and Mercedith (Duffield) Fallin. She was a 1976 graduate of Crab Orchard High School and was elected Homecoming Queen that year.

When Glenda met Russell Sutton, she knew right away that he was the love of her life. They were united in marriage on November 11, 1978. From that union, they had two children, Sherry and Christopher. Together they shared 43 years of marriage. She was a homemaker, and her priorities have always been caring for her husband and family. She enjoyed her flower gardens, playing cards, being a "Ma Ma," visiting with her grandchildren, and time spent with her little dog, Chloe.

Surviving is her husband, Russell; her daughter, Sherry (Justin) Perry; their children, Lukas and Matthew Jones, McKayla and Alyssa Perry; her son, Christopher (Chelsea Price) Sutton; their child, Maddox Sutton; her sister, Deborah Fallin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband's parents, Loren and Marguerite Sutton.

A time of visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 20, 2021, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Binkley- Ross Funeral Home, located at 1702 W. Boulevard Street, Marion, Illinois 62959. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM, with pastor Phillip Rowland, officiating. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery.

In Lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be directed to the family to help offset funeral expenses. Donations may be mailed in care of the funeral home or collected the day of the service. 618-997-7771.
