Grady Hancock

Goreville Grady L. Hancock, 43 of Goreville, passed away at 1:04 PM on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at his home. Funeral services for Grady will be on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Noon in the 1st Pentecostal Church of Goreville with Reverends RG Null & Ernest Newton officiating. Visitation will be at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Memorial donations are suggested to the family; envelopes will be available during services or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Grady was born in Marion on Tuesday, August 19, 1969 to Ronald & Shirley (Newton) Hancock. He is survived by his children, Ashleigh, Courtney & Alexander of Clinton and Logan of Goreville; parents, Ronald (Janis) Hancock and Shirley (James) Jones of Goreville; grandmother, Mary Merriman of Goreville; brothers, Jessie Wade & Amber Hancock of Anna and Jacob & Amber Hancock of Goreville; numerous aunts, uncles and friends. Grady was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Hancock and grandmother, Marie Perkins. He loved to go fishing, hunting and boating. He will be missed.
