Harriet S. Sutton MARION-Harriet S. Sutton, 79, of Marion passed away at 5:25 AM, Monday, January 23, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Paul Hicks officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 26, 2006 at funeral home. Burial will be at the Lindale Memorial Gardens in Eldorado. Mrs. Sutton was born on March 27, 1926 in Eldorado, Illinois to Guy and Susan (Karnes) Roberson. She married Stanley Sutton on August 14, 1945 in Eldorado, Illinois. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Susan and Ron Barnett of Carbondale; grandchildren, Laura and Scott Fletcher of Little Rock, Arkansas, Steven and Rachel Barnett of Minot, North Dakota; great grandchildren, Julianne Fletcher and Victoria Barnett; nieces, Beth Barger and Jacquie Bond; and nephews, Bill Epperheimer and John Epperheimer. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marian Epperheimer; and an infant sister, Carolyn Roberson. Mrs. Sutton was a member of Star General Baptist Church in Eldorado. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. The family wishes to thank Dr. Sean McCain and the nurse’s in ICU at Heartland Regional Medical Center for the care that was given.
