Henry Frank Frey

Herrin- Henry Frank Frey, 65, of Herrin, died at 6:29 PM, Saturday, July 10, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Frank was born on Halloween 1938 in Marion to Marshall & Marie (Kelton) Frey. Mr. Frey was retired as a heavy equipment operator. He worked for various companies at different times of his career. After his retirement, Frank worked a produce stand at the intersection in Energy. He was of Methodist faith. When he was able, Frank enjoyed hunting for rabbits, squirrel, and raccoon, and fishing for whatever was biting. He most enjoyed digging and selling roots, such as sassafras, ginseng, and goldenseal. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, south of Marion. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
