In loving memory of our little superhero, Jamir LaShaun Gibbs, age 7, who soared to new adventures on September 2, 2024. Jamir was a boy of boundless energy and a heart as big as the universe. Known for his infectious smile and joyful laughter, he was a jokester at heart, always armed with whoopee cushions and pranks that brought laughter to everyone around him.
Jamir had a deep love for Monster Trucks, building towering Lego creations, and painting masterpieces for his mom. He delighted in the antics of Big City Greens and Garfield the Cat, always finding a way to bring their humor to life. He was a fierce protector of his beloved sisters, a role he embraced with all the courage of a true superhero.
An adventurer at heart, Jamir loved slime, dancing, playing video games and board games, and crafting endless creations with his hands. A loyal fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, he could often be found racing around with all the speed and energy of his favorite blue blur.
Jamir made friends wherever he went, leaving a trail of smiles and laughter in his wake. Whether he was telling jokes, dancing, or playing pranks, he filled every room with joy. He was an honorary First Sergeant of the Army, a title he wore with pride and honor.
He would have been a bright light in the halls of Longfellow Elementary School, because he had a passion for learning, laughter, and life. Jamir’s spirit and love for life touched everyone he met, making him a true superhero in every sense of the word.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jamir left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and joy that will live on in our hearts forever. Fly high, our little superhero, and dance among the stars. You will always be loved and missed.
Still here to miss him are his mother, Amanda Miller; dad Issac “Ike” Love; sisters Kamaura Miller, Amirah Gibbs, Malayah Love; grandparents Catherine “Katy” Lively and Walt (Jamie) Miller; Bonus Nana and Papa, Sonya and Joey; aunts Jessica Miller, Briana Miller, and Sierra Donahue; cousins Nariah, Kay’Leah, Dontae, Dejah, Jameson, and Koa, and his puppy Roxie, along with half siblings, relatives, and friends.
