Jane B. Chartier Goreville—Jane B. Chartier, 82 of Goreville passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 2:56 PM. Graveside services will be held at Cana Cemetery in Goreville on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. A time of gathering for family and friends is scheduled for Friday, November 9, 2012 from 5-8 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Jane was born on Friday, February 22, 1930 in McNairy County, TN to Hiram & Ethel (Walton) Breedlove. She married John Chartier in Phoenix, AZ; he preceded her in death on Friday, February 28, 1969. Jane is survived by her children, Sherida & John Doyle of Peru, IN, Sylvia & Greg Gwinn of Chariton, IA and Mike & Rhonda Chartier of Goreville; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Chartier was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John and five siblings. She loved sewing, quilting, gardening and cooking. Jane never knew a stranger and will be missed by all.
