Herrin- Jeffrey Scott Price, 19, of Herrin, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Jeffrey was born on February 21, 1985 in Herrin to Marty L. Price of West Frankfort & Misty (Steele) Cooper of Herrin. He worked as a roofer for area contractors and loved animals; especially his beloved pet dog, Baxter. SURVIVORS: Mother & step-father- Misty & Joe Cooper- Herrin Father & step-mother- Marty L. & Nancy Price- West Frankfort Brother & sis in law- Marty D. & Sherry Price- Marion Brother- Randy Price- Stationed in Norfolk, VA Sister & brother in law- Mary & John Rutherford- Herrin Step brother & sister in law- Michael & Kyla Cooper- Houlka, MS Maternal grandparents- Cheryl & Jerry Mezo- Herrin Maternal Great Grandparents- Troy & Evelyn Finney- Herrin Nephew- Brydon Price- Marion Niece- Kristin Rutherford- Herrin Niece- Trinity Price- Marion Several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, aunt; Judith Colson & dear cousin; Alexis ShyAnn Mezo. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. The Rev. Ralph Brandon & Rev. Don Colson will co-officiate. Burial will follow at Hurricane Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Monday, February 14, 2005 at the funeral home.
