With heavy hearts and endless love, we say goodbye to our beautiful mother, Judith Kay Blumenstock, 83, who left us on January 28. 2025. She was the heart of our family, our safe place, our biggest cheerleader, and the one who made everything feel like home. Her parents were Perry and Mary Newman of Marion. She is reunited with the love of her life of almost 50 years, John Lee Blumenstock.
Judy had a way of making everyone feel special. Whether through kind words or the countless little things she did without expecting anything in return, she made the world brighter just by being in it. She was the person who always knew what to say, always put others first, and never let anyone leave her home hungry.
She loved her family deeply and being a mom and grammy were her greatest gifts. She is survived by her daughter Beth Blumenstock of Marion, IL; Brad Blumenstock (Lori) of Arlington, TN, and her grandchildren Tristin, Ava, and Grant. Her strength, wisdom, and unconditional love will forever be a part of us.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she’s at peace, watching over us as she always did. We will miss her every single day, but we’ll carry her love and lessons with us always.
Rest easy, Mom. You were, and always will be, our greatest gift.
Arrangements were entrusted to Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross. Graveside services will be private.
