Judy Trombetta

Judy Jean Trombetta, 78, of Marion, Illinois passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, with her beloved family by her side. She was born on December 2, 1940, in Hammond, Indiana, she was the daughter of John Sutowski and Mary “Terri” (Cecil) Sutowski.

On May 27, 1983, Judy married the love of her life, Donald Edward Trombetta. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and nearly 42 wonderful years of marriage.

Judy dedicated much of her career as an administrative assistant at Pepsi MidAmerica, where her kindness and work ethic made a lasting impact. She was a proud member of the Lake of Egypt Christian Church and the BPOE #800 Elks Lodge, where she formed cherished friendships over the years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don Trombetta; daughters Cindy Trombetta, Tammy (Rob) Krizic, Donna (Bob) Gale, and Debbie Trombetta; son Brian (Melissa) Brunke; brother Paul (Jane) Sutkowski; sister Annette Swoger; as well as many dear nieces and nephews and grandchildren, friends and extended family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Johnny Sutowski, and her sister Cheryl Sutowski; her mother-in-law Maxine Stewart and father-in-law Jack Stewart.

Judy will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with those around her. Per her wishes, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Foundation in her honor.
