Energy-Kevin Rex Albert, 28, died 12:22 A.M., Monday, January 13, 2003 at Herrin Hospital. Kevin was born April 8, 1974 in Centralia, IL to Donald Rex and Patricia Ann Samples Albert. They survive. Mr. Albert worked at Maytag in Herrin as an assembly operator and fork lift driver. He served in the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed playing golf and loved to be outdoors and spending time with his two children. Survivors include: His mother - Patricia Albert - Energy, IL His father - Donald Rex Albert - Salem, IL Son - Christian MaKane Albert - Carterville, IL Daughter - Aubree Lynn Albert - Carterville, IL Mother of his children - Nina Lynn Wallace Albert - Carterville, IL Maternal Grandparents - Robert and Gloria Robison - Energy, IL Maternal Grandparetns- Earl & Eunice Samples- Zeigler, IL Aunts and Uncles _ Debbie and Earl Samples - Energy, IL Bobby and Penny Robison - Frazier Park, CA Don and Vonda Barden - Herrin Paul and Anita Albert - Salem Willard and Betty Albert - Kell, IL Roy Albert - Ohio Several Cousins His paternal grandparents, Paul and Carrie Albert, Great grandparents, Charles and Janie Garavaglia preceded him in death. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Ralph Brandon will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to his children, Christian and Aubree Albert and will be accepted at the funeral home.
