Linda Ruth (Prince) Mcintosh

Linda Ruth McIntosh, 70 years old of Pittsburg, Illinois passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024. She was born in Eldorado, Illinois on July 6, 1953, the daughter of Ernest and Thelma Prince.

Being a Nana kept Linda young at heart.  She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with each of them.

She is survived by her children Gene (Charla) Samples, Richard Vaughn, Rachel (Mike Boyt) Samples, and Tracy (William) Nicholson; grandchildren Miranda Cagle, Jake Groves, Justin Groves, Cole Samples, Ashley Vaughn, Morgan and Macie Vaughn, Charlie Robertson, Tyler Stewart, Jourdyn Cain; great-grandchildren McKenzley Flute, Aubrey Feltz, Holden Robertson, Victoria Stewart, and Grayson Ryan; along with special friends Jerry and Paula White.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest Prince and Thelma Tucker; daughter-in-law Tiffani Vaughn.

Linda spent a lifetime caring for her horses.  She quickly gained their love, affection, and respect. She bonded in friendship with the magnificent animals and fell deeply into the peace of their souls.  She also enjoyed watching The Young and Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful soap operas.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home located at 1702 West Boulevard Street, Marion, Illinois. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Coal Bank Springs Cemetery.
