Margaret E. Wade

Marion Margaret Evelyn Wade, 82, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at 3:30 A.M. at the Heartland Regional Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1920 in Marion, IL to Leon Guy and Thelma (Pedigo) Swann. They both preceded her in death. She married Edgar Allen in St. Charles, Missouri 1943, he passed away on April 13, 1957. She later married James Wade in Johnston City, IL in 1959, he passed away on July 11, 1990. She was a production worker for Allen Industries of Herrin. She was a lifetime member of the Marion Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons; Donnie Allen of Marion, and Eddie Allen of Murphysboro, one granddaughter, Lisa Gibson of Marion, and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Brandon Gibson of Marion. She was preceded by her parents, both husbands, and a brother, Bill Swann. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. the Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Creek Cemetery at Johnston City. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
