MARGARET R. CARNAGHI Herrin Margaret R. Carnaghi, 85, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at the Herrin Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1917 in Herrin, IL to Tony and Catherine (Daniels) Garavalia. She was a bookkeeper and worked for several businesses but retired from Louies P & R. She was married to William A. Carnaghi in Herrin, IL on June 21, 1939. He preceded her in death on November 04, 1976. Survivors include: Daughter & Son in law: Toni & Paul Sanders, Herrin, IL Grandson: Nick & Karen Sanders, Herrin, IL Grandson: Matt & Tracy Sanders, Herrin, IL Great Grandchildren: Jason Sanders, Herrin, IL Mark Sanders, Herrin, IL Nick Sanders, Herrin, IL Sarah Sanders, Herrin, IL Sister & Brother in law: Gloria & Frank Phillips, Redmond, OR Niece: Phyllis & Jim Hinton, Redmond, OR Niece: Emilie & Brad Bonney, Redmond, OR Several Great nieces & nephews Special friend whom she called her adopted sister: Theresa Calcaterra, Herrin, IL Preceded by: Parents Husband Son, William J. Carnaghi She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Herrin. Visitation will be at the Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 27, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, with Father Richard Mohr officiating.
