Herrin-Marjorie Louise (Fisher) Richmond, passed away 5:02 P.M., Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Herrin Hospital after a brief illness. She was born December 10, 1920 in Marion, Illinois to John and Mary (Zoller) Fisher. She married John Richmond on December 23, 1939 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2000. Marjorie was a resident of Herrin the last 38 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors Include: Two Sons & Daughter In Laws: Dr. Larry and Sandra Richmond of OFallon, Illinois Johnny and Brenda Richmond of Herrin Granddaughter & Grandson In Law: Lana & Bart Kievit of Marion Granddaughter: Laura Richmond of Collinsville, Il. Granddaughter: Allison Richmond of OFallon, IL. Grandson & Granddaughter In Law: Lane & Melissa Richmond of Jeffersonville, IN. Three Great-Granddaughters: Lauryn, Brenyn and Jaycee Sister: Bessie Childers of Marion Sister: Pearl Miller of Marion Sister & Brother In Law: Barbara & Ronald Travelstead of Marion Brother & Sister In Law: Henry & Madge Fisher of Marion Brother & Sister In Law: Frank & Shirley Fisher of Marion Also survived by several nieces & nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Kathryn Smith, Florence Smoot, Mae Fisher and brothers Bennie, Clarence, Don, Ernest, Herman and Robert Fisher. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 19, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with her nephew Rev. Bennie Fisher officiating Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
