Mary Alice Bauer

Mary Alice Bauer, 82, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 9:27 A.M. at her home. Mary was born July 29, 1928 in Marion, the daughter of Claude and Amelia (Schneider) Johnston. She married Dare Bauer on October 8, 1950 in Marion and together they have shared over 60 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and a member of Warder Street Baptist Church. Survivors include; Husband Dare Bauer of Marion Daughter Brenda Epps and husband Tim of Benton Granddaughter Emily Epps of Benton Grandson Jason Epps of Benton Preceded by her Parents, Three sisters Mabel Dahmer, Martha Jacobs and Vera Frick. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Shewmaker officiating. Burial will follow in Barham Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
