Mary Elizabeth Norris, 52, of Marion, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 24, 1972, in Herrin, Illinois, to Howard Wilford Norris Jr. and Elizabeth Mae (McKee) Norris.

Mary dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a home health aide. She was a past member of the Church of the Way in Marion, Illinois, and carried a deep love for her family and friends. She found joy in shopping, tending to her flower garden, and spending time outdoors. Her warm and loving soul touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her life partner Jeffrey Barham; her siblings, Steven (Sheila) Norris, Christi (David) Frew, Matthew Norris, and Timmy Norris; her daughters Brittany Beers and Kalie Barham.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Gracie Beal, Hayden Beal, Whitley Beers, and Easton Beers.

Mary was loved by many nieces and nephews, including Jimmy (Sil) Walsh, Jacob (Melanie) Walsh, Jarod Walsh, Allen Norris, Steven and (Stephanie) Norris, Johnny Watson, Jennifer Watson, and Jamie Watson; her great-nieces and nephews, Aurora Norris, Nova Norris, Alissa Walsh, Levi Walsh, Lillyan Walsh, Benjamin Walsh, William Walsh, Remington Walsh, and Kylie, along with Deborah Dumaw, Mercedes Dumaw, Dericka Bloodworth, and Liam Bloodworth. They will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Debbie Watson, and her brother Mark Norris.

Honoring her wishes, Mary will be cremated, and her family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Blue Funeral Home, under the direction of Binkley-Ross, has been entrusted with arrangements. Please visit www.binkleyross.com to leave online condolences.
