Mary Jane Norris-Baldwin (née Craig) was born on August 9, 1951, in Marion, Illinois, to Harry and Gloria (nee Owens) Craig. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories.
Mary was a homemaker who found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for the color yellow, sunflowers, and the warmth of family gatherings. Whether she was shopping, spending time with loved ones, or driving her beloved yellow Jeep, she embraced life with a bright and cheerful spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Art Baldwin; her children, Matthew (Breanna) Norris, Mike (Jamie) Norris, and Bryan Norris; her treasured grandchildren, Austen (Marissa) Norris, Cori (Kayla) Norris, Kenzie Norris, Haley (Falon) Norris, Kota (Noah) Norris, and Kate (Brandon) Wiseman. She is also survived by her siblings, Paul (Juanita) Craig, Lester (Rita) Craig, Jerry (Vicki) Craig, Debbie (Rick) Basham, Judy Beasley, and Lois Norris, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her first loving husband, Bobby Norris; her daughter, Bobbie Sue Johnson; her grandchild, Kelsey Norris; and her sister, Betty Ann Davis.
In accordance with her wishes, Mary will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Blue Funeral Home under the direction of Binkley-Ross.
Mary’s love, warmth, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
