Meesha Mocaby

Meesha Mocaby, age 36, of Marion, Illinois passed away on November 5, 2024.

Meesha was born on January 1, 1988, in Carbondale, Illinois, the daughter of late Roget Kerstein (Knickerbocker) and Jason Kerstein.

Meesha had a heart of gold. She would always find the best part in absolutely anyone. Her daughter was her shining light, who she adored and was immensely proud of. She loved going shopping, collecting nicknacks, shoes, and clothes. She loved to call herself a crazy cat lady with her three cats. She loved to spend time with her daughter or her close friends and when she was not, she loved to watch movies with her cats. She enjoyed listening to music anytime possible. She was very creative and loved to paint things.

Meesha is survived by her father, Jason; her daughter Addison Hess of Marion; her brothers Noah Kerstein of Marion and Ryan (Jessica Hansen) Mocaby of St. Louis, Missouri; and her uncle Cliff Knickerbocker of Marion.

Meesha is preceded in death by her mother, Roget Kerstein, and her grandparents Esther Knickerbocker, and Frank White.
