Melba G Crawshaw

Herrin- Melba G. Crawshaw, 93, of Herrin, died at 3:25pm Tuesday December 7, 2004 at Cardinal Healthcare in Energy, IL. Melba was born October 18, 1911 in Alto Pass, IL to Charles Yank and Cora (Allen) Jennings. She was a retired Seamstress for Smoller Brothers and prior to that, she worked at the pants factory in Carbondale. She was of Pentecost Faith and enjoyed reading her Bible and watching religious programs. Survivors include- 2 sons-Fay and Violet Crawshaw-Royalton, IL Joe Crawshaw- Carbondale, IL 1 daughter- Pat Conley- Herrin, IL Special Friend- (Like a Daughter)- Erma and Bob Bateman 4 grandchildren- Shayne and Michelle Crawshaw- Johnston City, IL Matthew Conley- Phoenix, AZ Ricky Crawshaw- San Diego, CA Kim Crawshaw- Murphysboro, IL 3 great grandchildren Several Nieces and nephews Preceded by- Parents, four brothers, three sisters Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Friday December 10, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Ralph Brandon officiating. Visitiation will be Friday December 10th from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Herrin City Cemetery.
