OBITUARY
Morene Agnes Albright, of Marion, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in her home surrounded by family and friends. Morene was born December 16, 1929 in Marion, IL to Cline and Zelma (Graves) Morgan. Morene was united in marriage with Orpha Wendell Albright on October 9, 1948 in Jonesboro, Illinois. Morene was a loving wife, devoted mother, and dedicated follower of Christ.
Morene was a member of the East Liberty Christian Church. Passionate about teaching God's Word, Morene listened to God and utilized her gifts as prompted by Him. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and touched many lives through storytelling, youth ministry, administrative roles, and creative gifts. She frequently sought out opportunities to bless others through her "sunshine baskets," volunteer work at nursing homes, and uplifting people by speaking words God had given her into the lives of those with whom she crossed paths.
Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Suzy Albright of Goreville, Brent and Rose Albright of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Brent Holloway of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren, Chad (Maghenn) Albright, Damon Tucker, Courtney (Chris) Bishop, Lindsey (Nick) Hudson, Casey Fisher, Jessica (Clint) Poole, David (Lindsey) Albright, Robbie (Shelbey) Albright, Trenton (Becca) Holloway, McKenzi Holloway and fiancé Austin Hefner; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Jim Jackson; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Keith E. Albright; sister, Lorene Elliott; brother, Mason Morgan; and grandson, Henry Fisher, Jr.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home in Marion, with Reverend Jim Jackson, Darrell Wimberly, and Brent Holloway officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 26 at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home. Interment will be in Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Liberty Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
