Johnston City, Patrick Kevin Pat Hayes, 49, died September 12, 2004 in Makanda as a result of a motorcycle accident. Pat was born December 27, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Ralph Hayes & Cathy (OConnell) Josten. He was employed by Walgreens where he was an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the Herrin Elks. He was of the Catholic faith. Survivors Include: Mother: Cathy Josten of Herrin Father: Ralph & Patricia Hayes of Herrin Sister: Marycolleen Hayes of Oak Lawn, IL. Three Brothers & Sister-In-Laws: Michael & Kathie Hayes of Boling Brook, IL. Ralph & Terri Hayes of Oswego, IL. Sean & Sandra Hayes of Naperville, IL. He was a loving uncle to Casey & Connie Hayes of Cincinnati, OH. Tricia Hayes Crystal Hayes of Naperville, IL. Jodie Hayes of Naperville, IL. Stephanie Hayes of Naperville, IL. Nicholas Hayes of Naperville, IL. Noah Hayes of Naperville, IL. Emma Hayes of Naperville, IL. Great Niece: Mackenzie Hayes of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by one sister Kathleen Susan Hayes. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 16, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Msgr. Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home with a prayer service will be at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
