Robert Alexander Miller

Robert Alexander Miller, 76, of Marion, IL, loving father and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Franklin Hospital in Benton, IL.

Born July 9, 1948, in Anna, IL to Paul F. and Sara M. (Barlow) Miller. He was a graduate of Marion High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He dedicated much of his career to construction through the local carpenters union hall. Robert loved fishing and the cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. His ability to bring joy and laughter to those dear to him made him a beloved presence in their lives.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Alice (Miller) Einhaus, and his brother, Richard Miller.

Robert is survived by his children, Brian P. Miller of Coello, IL, Lindsey N. (Jeremy) Brown of Jackson, MO, and Cassandra K. Miller of Marion, IL. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Rylin, Chelsey, Isabelle, and Brenna; his sisters, Sally Bayles and Susan (Keith) Gardiner; and his brother, Charles (Sherry) Miller.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time of remembrance.
