Rosalie Parks

Marion Rosalie Parks, 86, died February 24, 2005 at 5:05 A.M. at Fountains Nursing Home. Rosalie was an only child, born to Marion to Eugene & Bertha (North) Roberts in Marion. She married Tilden Parks in Harrisburg on April 14, 1945 and he survives in Marion. Rosalie was a homemaker. She worked as a bank reconciler at the Ordinance Plant where she was Manager when that department closed. She was a member of Arnold View Freewill Baptist Church; she worked hard in her church and loved the Lord. She was a life member of the Marion Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the Williamson County Home Extension. Rosalie was an honorary member of the Marion Rotary Club, the new amphitheatre that is being built in Marion will be named for Rosalie and Tilden. Rosalie is survived by: Her husband Tilden of Marion Son Tilden Eugene (Buddy) Parks of Marion Preceded by: Her Parents. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 27, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Ivan Ryan and Rev. George Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be given to the Carmi Baptist Childrens Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
