Ross R. Bradley

OBITUARY

Ross R. Bradley passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 7:30 AM with his family by his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Chili" Bradley and Vera S. Bradley; his brother, Jerry Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Lilly Bradley; his three sons, Norman, Dwayne (wife Samantha), and Eric (wife Heidi); his two sisters, Jackie Yakos and Kay Knop both of Staunton; his nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Ross graduated from Staunton High School and later received his master's degree in education from SIU Carbondale, IL. He retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections.

As a young man he enjoyed swimming and was an excellent platform diver. In retirement all he wanted to do was to have a good book and most of all he enjoyed a good debate. He will be missed tremendously.
