Ruby Reed

Marion Ruby G. Reed, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 5:35 A.M. in Fountain Nursing Home. Ruby was born July 24, 1910 to John James and Myrtle Ann (Powless) Grady in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She married John Everett Reed on October 01, 1930 in Creal Springs, at the home of Rev. W.J. Peterson and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1972. Ruby worked at the Marion City Clerks office and Shermans Department Store. She was a graduate of Browns Business College and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Two (2) Grandsons: John K. Parks of Marion Brian M. Rich of Marion Great Grandson: Darrell E. Parks Preceded by: Parents, Husband, Two Daughters Ann Lee Reed on May 22, 1945 and Paula Jo Reed Rich on October 18, 1985, Brothers Paul Grady, Merrill Peterson and Clarence N. Grady. Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Atchison. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
