Ruth Vickery MARION-Ruth Vickery, 82, of Marion passed away at 12:12 AM, on January 20, 2006 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 22, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs. Mrs. Vickery was born on April 29, 1923 in Creal Springs to William and Julia (Coonce) Parks. She married John Vickery and he preceded her in death in 1968. Survivors include her grandchildren, Paula and Tracey Hanks of Marion, Ruth and Larry Wagley of Herrin, Ralph and Lorie Russell of Herrin; great grandchildren, Zhonetta Wagley, David Isacs, Shy Virden, Larry Wagley, Jr., Dale Hanks, Corbin Russell; great great grandchild, Dylan Gass; and several nieces and nephews.
