Herrin- Sandra Schoonaert, 58, of Herrin passed away at 6:43 pm on Thursday October 21, 2004 at Herrin Hospital. Sandra was born February 4, 1946 to Ida Sue Melvin. She was a home maker. Surviving are: Son- George Allen & Beth Schoonaert- Carterville, IL Daughter- Liza Schoonaert- Herrin, IL Brothers and sisters- Nealy & Judy Melvin- Carterville, IL Dale & Connie Melvin- Herrin, IL James & Marge Miller of Crestwood, IL Sharon Davis of Conyers, GA Numerous nieces and nephews Several Great Nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday October 25, 2004 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with the Rev Jim Ebbs officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Plasters Grove Cemetery in Thompsonville, IL.
