Sherrie Lynn (Glodjo) Cash of Marion passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Sherrie was born on January 13, 1966, the daughter of James “Pete” and Janet (Childers) Glodjo.
Sherrie was a 1984 graduate of Marion High School. She married Daniel “Danny” Cash on August 2, 1988. She was a dedicated and proud United States Airforce wife, often serving on the military base, specifically in the cafeteria where the children referred to her as the “milk lady.” Sherrie also held employment over the years as a waitress at Pali Kai in Marion. She shopped and delivered items to households all around town through Instacart, which allowed her to fuel her passion of shopping. Most recently she was employed as an administrative assistant at Ross Construction where she provided behind-the-scenes office support of organizing files, preparing documents, and scheduling appointments.
Sherrie was a born again Christian and was a member of In the Wind Ministries. She and Danny rode their motorcycle to Louisiana, Arkansas, Pigeon Forge and other places for church ministry.
She was fierce and unapologetic in the ways she supported those she loved. She never complained and rejoiced in spending time with her grandchildren. She made every second count by playing with her family and loving them unconditionally. She cherished her companionship with her dog Elly May and her kitty cats and provided them with love in exchange for their healing purrs and lap time snuggles.
She is survived by her husband Danny Cash; her father Pete (Donna) Glodjo; her children Tyler (Danielle) Glodjo, Chad Cash, Noah Cash; her grandchildren John and Sadie Glodjo, and Brylan Cash; her sisters Kim (Jerry) Ross, and Tammie (Todd) Oldeen; her nieces and nephews Brittany (Aaron) Smith, Jacob Ross, James Oldeen, Amanda Oldeen and David (Kristina) Oldeen; one great-niece and six great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her infant son Travis Cash; her mother Janet Glodjo; and her brother Adam Glodjo.
