Tia Chandon (Orso) Loyd

Tia Chandon Loyd, 46, of Marion, Illinois passed away on February 18, 2024, at her residence.  Tia was born in Herrin on January 21, 1978.  She was the daughter of Keith Orso and Kendra Brewer.

She is survived by her son Cory Lee Allen Schmitt; her mother Kendra Brewer; and her life partner John Young and her granddaughter Alexus Young.

She is preceded in death by her father Keith Orso and her grandparents Jackie Lloyd Summers and Betty Summers.

During Tia’s younger days she enjoyed fishing, playing sports, swimming and watching her favorite tv shows.

A visitation will be held at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. located at 1702 W. Boulevard Street Marion, Illinois 62959. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor David Maragni officiating.
