OBITUARY

Timothy "Tim" Wayne Williams, 64 years old, passed away on January 18, 2022, in Marion, IL. He was born on January 2, 1958, in Dayton, Oh. Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Donald "GT" and Marjorie Williams and his brother, Donald "Ed" Williams.

Tim married Teresa Rogers on July 3, 1984, and they have shared 37 years of marriage.

Tim spent his professional life as a carpenter, but his passion was always fishing. He spent many days and nights on his favorite lakes looking for that big bass! He especially loved spending time outdoors with his kids and grandkids. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa (Rogers) Williams of Pittsburg, IL; his children, Robin (Jerry) Szczeblewski of Carterville, IL, Heather (Charles) Wood of Marion, IL, Jason (Julie) Colp of Marion, IL, Betty Colp, and Timmy Colp; his father and mother-in-law, James and Vera Rogers of Marion, IL; his brothers, Michael Williams of Goreville, IL, James (Gayla) Williams of Thompsonville, IL; along with three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Also, long-time friends and fishing buddies Steve Pike and Jeff Duvall.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 1:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home located at 1702 W. Boulevard Street, Marion, IL 62959.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the family.
